INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package of Greenway Burgers, 2x120g
  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 stalks of spring onion finely chopped
  • 40 grams of grated carrot
  • 50 grams of pak choi finely chopped
  • ½ diced tomato
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger in small pieces
  • 1 lime, squeezed
  • 10 leaves of Thai basil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of cane sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise or veganaise
  • 1 teaspoon red curry paste
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of fried onions
  • ½ bag of mixed lettuce
  • Cooking oil or butter
  • Optional: fresh cilantro

Bangkok beasty burger

Heat the oven to 100 °C.

STEP 1

Put the greens in a bowl and add the fresh ginger, lime juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, Thai basil and cane sugar. Mix everything well.

STEP 2

Now prepare the burger sauce. Mix the mayonnaise or veganaise with the red curry paste, peanut butter and ketchup.

STEP 3

Grill or fry the burger for 1 minute and 15 seconds on each side with a little cooking oil over medium heat.

STEP 4

Cut buns in half and heat in oven at 100 °C for a few minutes. Brush the bottom bun with a tablespoon of peanut mayonnaise. Place burger on top, then marinated greens, fried onions and mixed lettuce. Finish with the top of the bun.
