Ingredients

  • 1 kg Greenway Gehaktballen
  • 50 g vegetable frying fat
  • 100 g Ardo onion cubes
  • 20 g Ardo garlic
  • 30 g Ardo ginger
  • 2 kg Canned diced tomatoes
  • 100 g Tikka Masala curry
  • 200 g Ardo green peas
  • 200 g Ardo lentils
  • 250 g yoghurt
  • Fresh coriander
  • 2 kg Ardo basmati rice
  • 250 g Ardo spring onion

 

Indian massala

STEP 1

Brown the diced onion together with the ginger in the frying fat.

STEP 2

Add the garlic a few minutes before the onions finish stewing.

STEP 3

Fry the meatballs in the braised onions.

STEP 4

Now add the diced canned tomatoes, vegetable stock and tikka masala curry.

Step 5

Simmer on a low heat for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Add the green peas after half the cooking time and the lentils a few minutes before serving.

STEP 1

Mix in some yoghurt.

STEP 8

Fry the basmatirice with some Ardo spring onions.

STEP 9

Top with fresh coriander and serve with basmati rice.
