INGREDIENTS

190 grams of flour
225 grams of brown sugar
25 grams of cocoa powder
5 grams of cornstarch
4 grams of baking powder
2 grams of salt
1 gram of vanilla extract
150 grams of vegetable cooking butter
100 grams of dark chocolate
160 ml of water
100 grams of coconut yogurt (finishing - optional)
100 grams of raspberries (finishing - optional)

The best vegan brownie

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 170 °C and line a baking pan or baking dish with baking paper. Sift the flour into a large bowl and mix in all the other dry ingredients.

STEP 2

Put the vegetable cooking butter, chocolate and water in a bowl and warm in the microwave (or simply in a saucepan on the stove) until the chocolate and butter are melted.

STEP 3

Stir the chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients to form a homogeneous batter and add the vanilla extract. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper (round: 22 cm diameter / rectangular: 15 x 22 cm) and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Allow the brownie to cool well before cutting. Be patient!

Optional: finish the brownies with some coconut yogurt and crushed raspberries.
