mini sausage rolls with Greenway minced meat

INGREDIENTS

1/2 red bell bell pepper
spices of your choice: pepper, salt, cajun seasoning, ...
leaf parsley
2 rolls of fresh puff pastry
ketchup and/or mustard

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Mix the minced meat with the very finely chopped vegetables, herbs and finely chopped parsley leaf.

STEP 2

Cut the round puff pastry sheets into four horizontal and four vertical slices, so that you get squares of about 7 x 7 centimeters (except for the pieces on the outside, which are somewhat rounded).

STEP 3

Place some of the prepared minced meat (about 1 tablespoon) on each square of puff pastry, making sure to leave 1 inch open on each side. If you want, you can also put some ketchup and/or mustard on top of this. This will give an extra touch to your sausage rolls and make them nice and creamy.

STEP 4

Fold the slices of puff pastry closed. Press the edges well. If necessary, decorate the puff pastry bites with some seeds and/or pits and bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown.
