Ingredients

for the burger:

  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 Greenway Burgers
  • 2 handfuls of mixed lettuce
  • Cucumber slices
  • Red onion, in fine rings
  • Sriracha or spicy chili sauce, to taste
  • Optional: fresh chili pepper, sliced or roughly chopped

For the creamy avocado dressing

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 jar of Pa'lais Cuisine Cashew Sauce
  • 1 bunch of coriander
  • 1 garlic clove
  • juice of 0.5 to 1 lime
  • 1 to 2 tsp sesame oil
  • big pinch of salt
  • Chili flakes to taste

For the salad

  • 300 grams carrot, coarsely grated
  • 4 spring onions, in rings
  • Handful of radishes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • lime juice to taste
  • 1 to 2 tsp soy sauce
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Chili flakes to taste
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Asian Style Burger

STEP 1

Bake the burger buns according to package directions.

STEP 2

Make the creamy avocado dressing by mixing all the ingredients together. Taste and season.

STEP 3

Bake the burgers for a few minutes until brown and cooked through.

STEP 4

Mix sesame oil, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, and chili flakes in a small bowl. Place the carrot, spring onion and radish in a bowl and drizzle with the sesame dressing. Taste and season. Finish with the sesame seeds.

Step 5

Spread the bottom burger bun with a spoonful of creamy avocado dressing. Then put some lettuce, the cucumber slices and fried burger on top. Top the burger with the rest of the lettuce, coriander leaves and red onion. Finish to taste with chili pepper, sriracha and an extra spoonful of avocado dressing.

Step 6

Serve with the carrot salad.
