Proveg creates a handy table where you can create a overview of the various meat substitutes that wholesalers offer are rated in terms of health. The health score is done based on the amount of proteins, fats, saturated fats and salt that the meat substitutes contain.

Greenway considers the following parameters to make good meat substitutes:

  1. Protein content above or equal to 10 grams / 100 grams
  2. Fats less or equal to 10 grams / 100 grams
  3. Saturated fat less or equal to 5 grams / 100 grams
  4. Salt less or equal to 1.6 grams / 100 grams


These parameters are recommended by the Supreme Health Council
